Kindly be informed that a redraw was conducted for the USA Grand Prix Championships in the Women's Singles on 30 June 2009.
 The redraw is applicable to both the Main and Qualifying draws.
 It was brought to the BWF's attention that USA women's singles player Lili Zhou (previous ID 51486) is now competing under a new name, Lillian Chow with the same ID.

Under the support of Olympic Solidarity, today began the Continental Coaching Course in Veracruz,Mexico. Participating 12 countries besides the host organizers,this course will cover theoreitical and practical sessions
which will enable the participants to get the information necessary to progress with their knowledge in our sport, practical sessions are at Colon University.The course will run until June 20
.

BWF Election for 2009-2013

                                 BPAC AGM Guangzhou09

During this year BWF AGM taking place in  Guangzhou, China, on May 10, Dr. Kang Joong Young was re-elected President for a new period by the delegates attending the Meeting.

Representatives from Badminton Pan Am were also elected are Membres of Council. Mr. Paisan Rangsikitpho was elected as Deputy President and Mr.Wayne Somers as Council Member, they join Mr. Gustavo Salazar, VP for BWF as our three representatives in the governing body of our sport.

Among the delegates of our continent were the Presidents of Canada, Guatemala, Jamaica and Peru.

          Entries and information  for the XVIII Junior PanAm Championships are out!
All our MAs already received the information for this important event which every year attracts more entries and visitors to the host country. This year Puerto Rico will host the event. Any additional information please contact us at

Please be advised that the winners of men and women singles for U19 will be invited by BPAC to participate in the 2009 World Junior Championships in Malaysia!
