XIX JUNIOR PANAM

As time comes closer for this Event, we have 10 countries participating in Team Event:
BRA, CAN, DOM, GUA, JAM, MEX, PER,PUR, SUR, USA.
For Individual events we have a total of 17 countries :
BRA, CAN, DOM, GUA, JAM, MEX, PER,PUR, SUR, USA.BAR, CSR, SAL, VEN, GUY, T&T, ECU, and over 370 players.
The Referee of the Event will be Mr. Jeff Bell from Canada and acting as Deputy Referee Mr. Enrique Charadan from Cuba.
We are expecting a succesful event for all participants.

BPAC has  the pleasure to inform , that our Continent has a  new Member Association, "Federacion Venezolana de Badminton", whose application has been approved by BWF Council last May in their meeting at Kuala Lumpur.

We are sure that in the following months we will have new players taking part in our different events and new badminton adepts in Venezuela.

Our best wishes to Prof. Ricardo Dennery and his Board in their activities and management in benefit of our sport .

Logo WJCThe 2010 Youth World, go down in history as the first time as young players won the title in the individual.

Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen 16 years old, “I really cannot believe that I’ve won the title. And to become the first European to do so is even more meaningful”

 Ratchanok Inthanon Thailand's charismatic 15 years old retains the title for the second year, “It was more a dream than a reality to win the championships but I am delighted with my performance and hope to build on this success.”

 Great moments and badminton of high level among the participants were experienced during the days of competition, a success for the Organising Committee Upcoming Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games.
